Our Mission:
The mission of the "Special Needs Ministry" of Christ Temple Church is to help individuals with varying degrees of disabilities and their families to feel welcome and accepted. This is to be accomplished by providing an opportunity for them to share their gifts and talents with the church body in a safe, secure and loving environment.

The philosophy of the special needs staff is to pray and believe for healing while offering needed assistance adapted to the special needs of each individual. The Special Needs Ministry of Christ Temple Church is intended to be a witness of the love of Christ to every person despite their physical and/or mental limitations.

Jacob's Well is a room designated for special needs children who need a safe, secure loving environment.

Inclusion Program is staffed by trained volunteers to help special needs children who meet certain criteria for participation. This is provided during Sunday School, the Sunday a.m. Service, and Wednesday Night for Royal Rangers and Blossoms.

Wednesday Night Youth Team is staffed by trained volunteers from the "Inside Out" youth group, providing help to special needs teens to feel accepted and loved by their peers while enjoying the youth group experience.

Deaf Ministry provides sign language interpreters during all services and classes to train volunteers to use American Sign Language.
Assisted hearing devices are located at the information center in the Narthex.

Visual Aids
-provides large print bibles (located at the information center in the Narthex)
-bible verses projected on large screens in the main sanctuary
-scripture cassette albums for the visually impaired and printed handicapped forms (located at the information center in the Narthex)

We in the "Special Needs Ministry" at Christ Temple Church believe that every individual in the Body of Christ is valued and loved by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and should be provided every opportunity to participate and grow within His Church.
