At Christ Temple we recognize children are close to the heart of God and ministering to children is a top priority. We see each child as a person designed specially by God. It is our privilege to teach them the principles of God’s Word and to model the love of Jesus Christ.

In ancient Israel the Ark of the Covenant signified God’s presence among His people. Now God dwells in the hearts of believers and we are His presence in our world – we are the “Ark” of His presence. Our goal is to raise up children and youth who are aware of God’s presence in their lives and represent Him to their world – Ark Kids.

ArKidz Children’s Ministry is a fun, exciting time where children from Grades 1-6 explore the truths of God’s Word in a wide variety of ways. We have a great kid’s music program that includes, praise team vocals, dance team, music videos, and live band. Students in grades 5 and 6 become ministry interns and assist with all aspects of the children’s ministry. Everyone from the youngest children to the adult ministers join together for sincere prayer and heartfelt worship. Lessons are complemented with many props, object lessons, group games, video segments, and characters. Before and after services everyone enjoys the many games and activities as well as the “Toy Store” prize room.

Sunday 9:00am – Children’s Church in the “Arkive” and grade specific Sunday School classes

Sunday 11:00am – Children’s Church in the “Arkive”

Sunday 6:00pm – Children's Church in the "ArKive" for 1st-6th graders.
Nursery - Kindergarten are in their designated classrooms.

Wednesday 7:00pm – Children's Church in the "ArKive" for 1st-6th graders.
Nursery - Kindergarten are in their designated classrooms.

For 12 months - Kindergarten

Kindergarten – Kindergarteners have their own special class where they get the best of the preschool Bible lessons and learning environment while also joining the “big kids” for a portion of children’s church. They love to see the puppets and characters, as well as the exciting praise and worship music. Kindergarteners also enjoy play time in the Playland or on the outdoor playground as well as snack time.

Preschool – Our 3 and 4 year olds enjoy active learning in the Early Childhood Learning Center. Bible truths are taught with props, illustrations, stories, and crafts. The children especially like singing Bible songs with accompanying motions. At this stage of development, children learn naturally through playing and exploring so these rooms are equipped with a wide variety of engaging toys from puzzles and blocks to kid size exercise equipment, kitchens, and clubhouses. There is ample time to explore and play while interacting with other children and the teachers.

Nursery – Infants and Toddlers have a nurturing environment where they are cared for and loved by a wonderful staff. Each child is signed in and given a specific call number which will be posted on the screen in the main sanctuary if the parent is needed. The toddlers enjoy singing and repetition, Bible stories, children’s books, coloring and crafts. They have snack time and lots exploration and play in the nursery rooms.
